72 hours for funds to go into account from paypal

as title states i had yesterday withdrew money on another paypal and it was like instant and message said 2-3 hours

on my new business paypal not stealth its saying 72 hours is this normal? besause 72 hours is a long time!!! :(

Pretty standard.

Just make sure not to request another withdrawal within the 72 hours. It should drop down to 48 / 24 / 2 hours after a while

Yeah happens sometimes mate,
I'll get 24 hour and 2 hour withdrawals and then out of nowhere i get 72 hours.
I think its actually random.

Not totally random, but there are ways to reduce the time that you have to put up with the 72 hour withdraws.

Its funny, I was hit with those 72 hours last month, now I have 2 hours again. I imagine it will go back up at some point in the crazy world of PayPal

I have been getting 72 hour withdrawals but the actual funds show on my account in 24 hours. It has happened 3 times like this.

Yeah same with me on some, they are obviously manually reviewing them, so it depends on backlog I guess...you just smile when you get the 2 hour email two days early than you thought it was gonna come

No manual review involved. I've never had an account limited due to a withdrawal request.

It's actually a good thing. I'd much rather PayPal feel slightly uneasy about my withdrawal and hold it for 72 hours than a straight limitation.

But as several people have said, there are many ways to nearly always get the 2 hour withdrawal.

Well we all know PayPal lie, however they told me its because they manual review just to check everything is ok and the account is not being used fraudulently.

Rarely do these 24/48/72 hour holds actually get a manual review. Most the time the funds will be released dot on the time they are meant to.

PayPal just do not have the man power to review that many transactions.

There is now a new bombshell thrown by PayPal. Couple of days ago I witnessed 3-5 days withdrawal. This may be a new thing to watch out for us in the near to mid term.

I'm glad to know others are getting this too.
Opened a new Personal Stealth, got a payment as friends/family, tried to withdraw, says pending withdrawal. Let's hope it get's done ASAP.
