close bank account after done with paypal?
 

hi all

my question after old bank account with paypal limited could i close it as like 40k pound went through their and waiting 2 months will close

got limited like 1 month ago and no money went in their since



let me know your views guys i dont like keeping lots of cards

If I am following you correctly. Your pp account is empty? and limited as well . So you will have no more funds going into it ?. I always leave little bit in pp for awhile to cover any refunds that may arise . Then after everything has settled I withdraw all the money then close the bank account it is useless.
Now if you have money in pp and its on 180 hold you would want to leave bank open till you can withdraw your money . I have heard others having troubles adding a new bank account to a limited account to withdraw the money to.

Its not really a good idea to be closing and opening bank accounts all the time.

One off is fine, but if its a constant thing questions may be asked.

hi sorry late replys

bank is lloyds i have 2 banks with them and never closed any banks this wil be first as i got like 4 cards

last item sold was like january 3rd or something all ebay fees paid for etc paypal is limited perminent

i will close the bank june time as last payment for my car insurance goes then and it will be useless to me

question is bank people wont ask why has 40k gone through here to diffrent account in past year etc???? as i was transfering them across diffrent accounts

That's your biz. You move money from your incoming account to your outgoing reinvestment account ,Not a big deal.. As when your selling real legit items, often profits are low and you have to sell 1000's to make little profit .
40k went through 10% was true profit meaning only 4k was yours to gain. They don't review it when they close an account just tell them you don't need it any longer,it was for saving money but that didn't work lol

money came in like i would withdraw like every 2 days before got banned from paypal im sure all record will be their saying why you withdrawn 40k to the bank etc lol

i was selling virtual goods you see no physical delivery

What you do with your money Is no ones business except yours. As long as you are not doing anything illegal than I don't see what the problem would be

If the Account was set up with your real information, and you are worried about moving money from one account to another than dont, that's what bank accounts are for, collect income and than make payments, transfer to different accounts, and hopefully save some

Lloyds are funny with stealth but when it comes to opening and closing of bank accounts, it' your personal matter and if they ask any questions, then they are just being rude.
If I was you, and I will be soon(I'm about to close my Lloyds Personal Account), I'd just walk into the branch, tell them that you have decided to take your banking elsewhere and just close the account.
If they ask any questions, just say that you like other banks more because of the Internet banking they use and mobile app.
Why?
Because it's true.
Lloyds are so backwards when it comes to certain aspects of their banking, just stuck in old ways.

Never walk into a bank and tell them you are taking your business elsewhere.

That bank might decide to try to retain you as a customer.

Like paypal, only ever tell a bank what you want them to know.

so i can send money across banks yes everything is real on the bank obviosuly

also do barclays ask questions if you have like 50g in your savings at young age or dont they care?
