Default Will it be ok to buy stuff on eBay without fund in your Paypal account?

I am wondering if this will be good to do or not. If you have new verified paypal account with £0 credit on your account. Then you want to buy things on eBay. Will paypal automatically take money from your bank account or the account will be negative and we have to load fund into our account later ourselve?

If you do like this, is it going to be flagged by paypal?

Hmmm, this is an odd post for this forum.

It sounds like it is better served in the eBay help forums, no?

I think what happens is that paypal send the seller a e cheque. The money is then requested from your bank account and the seller will get it in about 5 business days, that is if it doesnt get rejected by your bank.

Ohhh...if you are right about an e-cheque. I have got a few payments by e-cheque from buyers to my paypal account before. However I have to wait at least 14 days each time for the payment to be cleared. Once I waited for 3 weeks!!!!

That's great then, I dont need to load money from my bank account to my new paypal. If paypal direct debit money from my account, I can then set to cancel direct debit from paypal in the future. (dont need to go to bank...lol)
