Paypal Fraud wont pay me back
 

Hello,

I have just come back from holiday and for the last couple of days someone has been using my paypal for online gambling I disputed this but they say it doesnt count as unauthorised and if I want to dispute it further then I have to write to them in the US ( I am in the UK.
So I just re did my original dispute with them but added more information, I am really worried because some of the sites are ones I have used my self in the past but I dont recognise some of the others. I have since changed my passwords and security questions on paypal and on the gambling sites that I have used.
I am at a complete loss of what to do because they have completely cleared my account of about £500 I now have nothing and I feel like because I have uused the sites in the past they are just going to say that it was me who did it. Since like I said I am just back from holiday I have no food in the house or anything. Please any adice would be great.

They will be able to tell if the access was unauthorised from the IP address & device used when this took place.

I'd contact the gambling site concerned, explain the situation and ask for the IP address used at the time of the "theft".

Welcome to the forums - you do need to contact the gambling site - to contact PP, you will need a lot of proof

Ive tried to contact some of the sites since more than one was used but the email address keeps pinging back to me, and as for the others the accounts have been suspended, I am not sure if by the person or because paypal has contacted me.
