PayPal changing purchase price to EUROS
I occasionally purchase things from eBay using an Entropay card. However, every time I have, PayPal take the £ Sterling price and change it to Euros during the checkout process.
For example, last night I made a purchase for the total price of £119.98 but this was converted to 175.26 EUR, which took the total up to roughly £124. So I ended up paying around £5 more than I wanted/expected.
Why does this happen and is there a way to stop it? I didn't think customers were charged fees for buying stuff!
The currency on both my Entropay & PayPal accounts are already set to Pound Sterling. |
