think i messed up
 

Hi guys so i opened a paypal account with a slight different spelling of my name same date of birth but everything else different like ip,bank card,address,laptop and phone number i understand i should have changed my name completely and date of birth but then would have no id to send in and also don't understand how to explain to the tax man why my ebay account would be in a different name,I have read plenty of posts on here with them all saying to seek professional advice about it but cant afford to do that at the moment so just doing what i can.

Anyways when i signed up to pay pal it came up with add a bank account i was under the impression that you added ur real bank account to verify then entro card to confirm?

I added my real account not the full card just bank account as i read somewhere not to add the full card details but account would be alright because they cant see the address unless they take money out from the card ,another screen came up which i clicked ok to then it said they would send me a deposit to my bank with a 4 digit code attached to it i got that code entered it and now all my limits have been removed apart from the receiving limit but im guessing that i should have entered the entro pay card and had that code sent there???

will they have seen my real address now as the new card is registered to the same address that my old ebay was ?

you didnt add your real card? just your bank? so your fine, just make sure you keep enough balance in your pp incase you get a chargeback. IT will then be processed as an echeque and then they are able to see your real name. Although i doubt a small variation would be picked up....
