Can't even create a PP account
 

So...

Did some decent sales from random Halloween stock that came my way.

Now, in preparation for Xmas, I thought best to create a few PP/EB accounts.

ROFL! I can't even create a PP account! New gmail email address. IP address, Window, etc. all good. But can't even creat a PP account.

It says, "check email" when I try to sign up. But my bloody email address is valid!

FFS! Can ebay ditch PP for good and set up some new payment mechanism?

They've been tinkering with a new email confirmation process. I encountered this as well a few times. The solution is to copy the PIN code from the email and then go onto the website and enter it.

I could not even create a PP account. No PIN or code or anything. When you put in email address and password twice and click to continue, it could not even go past this. A real joke.

But it's OK now.

On the plus side ppl were really spending this Halloween. Let's hope it keeps up right through to NY.

Paypal was acting up a couple of days ago (Thursday night-Friday morning). I was getting the same message when I tried to create new accounts.
Was able to create them yesterday and it looks like the issue has been resolved. Try it now and if you still have an issue doing it report it back here.
