add bank detail problem
 

hi,

just tried to add bank to new paypal stealth account from a Natwest saving account. 2 deposit gone through, verified successful ! However, 2 days later paypal delete that bank account and they said they can't deposit to the bank account?

i think i put something wrong on the direct debit page like bank address?

anyone have idea?

Are you 100% sure that Natwest account supported Direct Debit? paypal will deposit the
funds, verify BUT if DD is not allowed, it removes the mandate and the account is not usuable. Can you tell me the name of the account? Then we might have an answer.

Hmm, we had a few people confirm Natwest savings... not sure why you're having a problem.

BECAUSE it is not Natwest Savings. You must open a Natwest STEP account. Not all
their other savings account have the Direct Debit.

i tried to create a steath account so the name of paypal account is different with my natwest bank account. is it a problem for different name?

and yes it's a e-saving account. i think i put wrong bank address on direct debit page so they refused. i will try natwest step. thanks you all

e-savings do not support Direct debit. Do try NatWest Step, that is working. 98% of the banks allow different names. Not a problem as yet with NatWest. Good Luck.

smile, allow you to set up another immediate, possilby multiple accounts with different account numbers, once you setup original one (send real docs for that).

anyone know Halifax current account work for stealth account ? I mean difference name ?

Smile works best with a current account. Halifax & Bank of Scotland banks are troublesome
There are better choices.
