Paypal limited forever. 180 days passed, money still locked
 

Hi,
End of April I had an email from Paypal asking for documents.
Have submitted documents, but they did not like something and limited my paypal account with no right to appeal.
Fair enough.
They said that my money will be locked for 180 days.
Now, 180 days passed, however I cannot withdraw, cannot send to anyone, the message says your account is limited, please go to resolution centre. Resolution centre says your account is limited. :DDDDDDDDDDDDD

I know it is funny, however anyone else was in this funny situation and how did you get it sorted?

what happens when you try to withdraw? or are you saying you cannot add a bank account?

If they didn't like the docs and then limited it and the email said they would release funds after 180 days, then I would phone.

Otherwise why would they say 180 days?

Whenever I try to withdraw it tells you cannot as your account is limited... Oh well.. Stupid paypal. Will try to call them.

Just quick question, do they allow to withdraw only or to transfer to another account as well?

Withdraw ONLY. And it would be silly to even transfer to another account (if they offer that option....) because it would be limited too hah

i dont understand, youve got nothing to lose right now... everything has been done to lead up to you being limited so calling them is not even an issue

just call them -

Had the same issue lifting the EU limit, didn't like the doc sent and 180 days now been and gone. PP won't release the money without ID again being submitted and after calling, nothings changed other than rejecting the same ID (again).

Can you refuse to send another form of ID and wait out another 180 days? Never known them to hold it after 180 days..
