Paypal withdrawal 3-4 working days

Hi

Paypal withdrawal was instant now saying 3-4 days.

I know theres an old thread on this but just wondered if anyone had encountered this in the last few days. This account is doing really well, limts lifted, instant withdrawals etc..

Many thanks

MJT530

Re: Paypal withdrawal 3-4 working days

It just happens sometimes. When you say 3/4 days, are you getting the 72 hour message? generally this happens if you have made a few large withdrawals recently or any other out of the ordinary pattern on your account

Usually it drops back down to instant after a few weeks

Re: Paypal withdrawal 3-4 working days

Hi James

Nothing out of the ordinary at all. I always withdraw frequently and never take out a large amount really. The account is very busy but has been this past few months. No big jump in income in income recently. Its been steady for about 3 months.

Re: Paypal withdrawal 3-4 working days

Give it a few weeks

Let any withdraws clear before requesting a new one

Chances are it should reduce again overtime

Re: Paypal withdrawal 3-4 working days

Its strange as its not the usual 3-5 working days message as it states 3-4 working days.

Thanks for your replies.

Re: Paypal withdrawal 3-4 working days

I withdrew the other day and it quoted 72 hours, but it was in my account in 24 hours.
Then the next withdrawal after that was 2 hours again.

Re: Paypal withdrawal 3-4 working days

Just got this email:

You asked us to transfer 50.00 GBP from your PayPal balance to your bank account, and we're processing it now. It usually takes 2-3 working days for transfers like this to be processed, so you should see the money in your bank account by 24 Feb 2016. Please refer to the PayPal User Agreement (accessible via the Legal link in the footer on most pages on www.paypal.co.uk) for further information.

Never had this before.

Thanks for your help!

I'm getting this too. On 2 different stealth accounts. They've changed/updated their withdrawal page with the new look. I'm a bit confused but am glad to see I'm not the only one as I thought I messed up somewhere

Hopefully we'll get our funds sooner!

Re: Paypal withdrawal 3-4 working days

Its not that normal message...... its a different one.

I got it on an old account I not logged into for a couple of months and went to withdraw only 15 squid.

Personally, I not had that message on any other accounts, so I am wondering if it is something new as it is not that normal message when it says 24 hrs pending / 72 hours pending etc.

Last time this happened there was a problem with the faster payments system and after a few days it went back to normal, i had the same thing today also..

Re: Paypal withdrawal 3-4 working days

Also, WTF is this supposed to mean...?

"Before you withdraw, check out the benefits of keeping a PayPal balance."

It doesn't actually list any benefits, and besides, **** you Paypal.

Are Paypal having some financial troubles as this just seems strange.

Re: Paypal withdrawal 3-4 working days

Don't worry about instant withdrawal - if it comes in a few days, just be happy to receive the money

Re: Paypal withdrawal 3-4 working days

I think this is a new withdraw setup on PP, ive never seen this before. even on my aged accounts etc its all new not the same withdraw pages as usual

Re: Paypal withdrawal 3-4 working days

Definitely new... It defaults to "bank transfers take 3-4 working days depending on your bank" BEFORE even selecting an amount.

It looks like trying different withdraw amounts to dictate the withdrawal time workaround maybe up :(

Re: Paypal withdrawal 3-4 working days

It says completed now but I haven't received the funds in my bank account :(
Normally it shows up instantly

I would think PP will back-off long holds after the big lawsuit and all. they might be more apt to stay course.

I tried earlier this evening and transferred some money and it is back to normal now and was in my account straight away.

if you withdraw often ( more than once in a week) the withdrawal times can change.

Re: Paypal withdrawal 3-4 working days

Got an email from PP saying if I tried to withdraw over the weekend using faster payment method (which I did) then the website had technical issues. My payment is now in a queue and will take another 4 business days. Thanks for that paypal.

Re: Paypal withdrawal 3-4 working days

This is where there is a crossover with paypal.com and the uk version. If you get these strange messages, or any that say 3 - 5 days, check your address bar, you are likely in .com. Just log out and re-enter making sure you get in via the UK bit.

mao 02-23-2016 01:40 PM

Re: Paypal withdrawal 3-4 working days

soon as you type in .com it auto redirects you to the UK site does it not?

Re: Paypal withdrawal 3-4 working days

It should, but doesn't 100 % of the time. It happened to me, and offered me 3-5 days bank transfer withdrawal, and many other wordings against the norm, which is how I noticed.

Think of going back in time to 1983 and getting crossed lines on the telephone. ( Showing my age there!) :s

Did you you factor in 21st was a Sunday so only 2 days if the transaction was registered Monday - not too worrisome yet

Your withdrawal is delayed

Dear x,

We’re writing to apologise for technical issues that occurred between 19th and 20th February which may have impacted your ability to withdraw money using the UK Faster Payments Service.

The technical issue has been fixed. We also want to reassure you that no transfer fee was charged on your attempted Faster Payment transaction. We have queued up your withdrawal request and you should receive it within the next four business days.

If you have any questions, please contact us by clicking Contact on any PayPal page.

We apologise for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you. We value your custom and we appreciate your understanding.

Yours sincerely,

PayPal
Im not to worried at the moment as ive seen completed payments before on my PP on other accounts and not receiving them for another day or 2. Obviouslty it does say 4 business days so Friday at latest, if not in for then ill defo be panicking lol.

What I am worried though is can PP still reverse payment if its "completed"

Ive had intermittent problems in the past where, all of a sudden, Paypal will give me the message that my withdrawal could take up to 72 hours etc. If you click to go back on your browser (to previous page) before you submit the withdrawal request and then try it again, you will find that very often it changes back to Instant Withdrawal. Ive done this several times and its worked. Just a thought. :)

I wouldnt risk doing this. Sometimes it works and sometimes they will limit you.
