Should I just give up?
 

One of my Stealth accounts was suspended nearly 4 years ago but I was given the opportunity to reinstate it if I sent in documents (it was a soft limitation).

I sent them in nearly 4 months ago, didn't hear anything. The eBay Chat folks escalated this a million times and I was always told I would hear within 72 hours. I never did.

When I asked them 'What if I don't hear back? It's taken so long already!'. They would just reply with 'I'm glad to have helped you with this issue' and then promptly ended the chat session. Very helpful.

I sent in the documents again yesterday but I'm not holding out much hope. It's so annoying because the PayPal account is fully verified with every single limit removed.

Shall I just give up on this eBay account? Is it likely to ever get reinstated or will I just keep going around in circles?

It sounds like they are just stringing you along I am afraid

You would be better off putting efforts into a new account or accounts

4 months, jeezo !! just think the amount of accounts you could have started and made strong within that time period. Time to stop wasting time on that account and start building.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Thank guys.

As the PayPal account is still good, I'll use it for off-eBay websites that I'll build myself.

It just sucks.

You could always try calling ebay ? The account is currently lost anyway.

Tried that.

They just said they same thing as the guys on Chat. Seemed to want to help but all they said was 'they'll forward it to the relevant department. You'll hear back within 72 hours....'

You can also use it for any wholesale customers you need to invoice..
