| | | damac | 03-02-2016 06:09 AM | Paypal withdrawing system changed? Hey, I went to withdraw today on some of the newer accounts I created. Usually what I do is click withdraw and if it says 24 or 72 hours etc. I just dont bother reason being I dont want it to go through "review" I wait a few more days and then when it says 2 hours. I click withdraw and get it instantly. done this no problem on start up accounts for what over a year now?
However today when I attempted to withdraw on my new account I notice there is a completely new system in place it says "Keep your funds in your account" or withdraw. now it just shows 0 to 3 days.
Is there anyway to tell anymore if the withdrawal will be instant or if it will be going under review before hand? |
| just_smile | 03-02-2016 06:42 AM | Re: Paypal withdrawing system changed? Paypal has been having some issues recently with withdrawals. It's a common issue.
They've been using the old Bacs system for some accounts (2-3days)instead of faster payments. (2 hours)
I assume your issue is related. |
Re: Paypal withdrawing system changed? As long as the money comes, I don't worry about delay - like just_smile stated about pp having issues |
| damac | 03-02-2016 09:05 AM | Re: Paypal withdrawing system changed? lol no mate, what tends to happen is when I create new accounts if the withdrawal is not 24 hours paypal always limit the accounts and make me send docs in, I have the docs so they pass. but you get assholes at paypal who fail them as ⊗⊗⊗⊗ even when they are genuine. so what I normally do is click withdraw, it tells me how long before its in, if it says 2 hours, I with draw, if it says 24 it means they review the payment so I wait.
But now the entire PAGE has changed. You know when they went from the classic site and it was completely different but you could could click classic if you wanted to view it that way?
when I go to withdraw a new page i've never seen before (does it on all my stealth accounts) Pops up and it no longer says anything except withdrawals take 0 to 3 days. if I then click "withdraw" instead of telling me it'll take 2 hours, 24, 48, 72 etc. it now says 0 3 days and is a completely new page.
I withdrew last night on one of the accounts so the change must have litterally just happened. but its a different way of withdrawing to how it use to be.
My question is has anyone found a way to tell how long its going to take before withdrawing? as I dont want it go to a review and then be forced to send docs on 5-6 of my new accounts all at once. |
| realdeals | 03-02-2016 09:15 AM | Re: Paypal withdrawing system changed? There are threads about this already.
And for what it is worth, if it pops up 24 hours or 72hours just let it go through as such. They do not 'manually review' these payments. You can near enough guarantee to the minute when they will clear as they are still automated. |

| damac | 03-02-2016 09:26 AM | Re: Paypal withdrawing system changed? interesting. Its happened to me on all my accounts so far. I've gone through 17 and all of them have this new system. Last night they didnt at all it was exactly the same 2 hour/24/72 etc.
wondering if this is just a temp thing as they apparently had withdrawing errors? |
| just_smile | 03-02-2016 09:38 AM | Re: Paypal withdrawing system changed? How strange.
Time will tell if it's a new system or If it's due to the errors on there system.
Why don't you withdraw on one of then and see how long it takes? |
| damac | 03-02-2016 09:40 AM | Re: Paypal withdrawing system changed? I will do. gonna wait till ive had no transactions in any for a day or two. Despite what has been said the only time I've EVER got an account limited inr ecent memory has been when I withdrew with the 48 hour or so option and it got reviewed. So i'm 100% sure it at least raises flags to cause an account review. |
| damac | 03-02-2016 10:32 AM | Re: Paypal withdrawing system changed? Update. I withdrew 50 quid. went straight into my account did a low amount on purpose. Went in instantly but there is no longer a way to see the 2 hour/24/72 blah blah thing so perhaps the way to "Monitor" if the withdrawal will be instant is now gone? unless someone else has found something I missed. |

I've just checked all my accounts and nothing has changed for me, but I will be creating couple of new accounts this weekend most likely so I'll keep myself alert to see if it is indeed something that they are testing/trying on new users. |

Weird thing is one of my accounts at over 18 months old also has it now! |
| zamzam | 03-02-2016 01:12 PM | Re: Paypal withdrawing system changed? Hello, Guys and damac I had the exact same thing when I went to withdraw money the same on over 5 accounts I withdrew from so will see how long this actually takes! Do agree with you being a first as I have also never seen this sort of process when withdrawing... |

| zamzam | 03-03-2016 01:39 PM | Re: Paypal withdrawing system changed? 2 of the accounts seems to have gone back to normal...must have been a glitch! Have heard they are facing issues these days with there faster payments option...unlucky I guess! |

Re: Paypal withdrawing system changed? I have it on my account, if it showed 24hrs or more I was planning to wait and try again the next day, but unfortunately it said 0-3 days so when it comes is a mystery. |
| Jigsaw | 04-17-2016 11:08 PM | Re: Paypal withdrawing system changed? It is just a new layout for personal accounts, you still get the email indicating funds can take up to 2/24/48/72 hours to appear in your bank account.
I don't get this layout on any of my business accounts. |

Re: Paypal withdrawing system changed? Very annoying as before if it said 72 hours then you could leave it and try again the next day and hope it's 2 hours. Now you have no way of knowing how long it will take, if doing unconfirmed withdrawals you are now more likely to lose the bank account as your account can get limited anytime within that 72 hours |
| damac | 04-19-2016 12:27 PM | Re: Paypal withdrawing system changed? Do paypal review every transfer if its 72 hours? or do they just make youw ait the 72 hours I cant imagine them having the power to review everyone? |
Re: Paypal withdrawing system changed? FYI, my new accounts have always taken full 72 hours before money reached bank. Thought after a few withdraws, it goes down to instant withdraw (2 hours). |

I saw someone say if he has over a 1000 in his account and withdraws he always gets limited ifo its 72 hours lol. |

Its just a risk based system. Think of it as, the Paypal system is slowly getting to know you. Sooner or later it will trust you enough to start dishing out money instantly (2 hours) |

I think they just make youw ait 72 hours to check for charge backs etc |

Re: Paypal withdrawing system changed? wtf is happening with PP withdrawals these days, never know if its 2hours or 72hours anymore, horrible new setup they have. Even when you put the classic site link in youre redirected to the new page. ive noticed on EVERY account I have im all 72hours now even on extremely strong accounts. pissed off isn't even the start of it tbh. |
| Mack the Knife | 04-21-2016 10:07 AM | Re: Paypal withdrawing system changed? I think they might be getting rid of Faster Payments altogether and going back to the old way.
I just tried to add a new bank account on a 3-week old PP account. The whole layout was different. It says that 2 small deposits would be placed in said bank account, I need to check for these 2 deposits, enter exact amounts, then PP will retrieve later. Nothing about 4-digit code.
Strange! |
| realdeals | 04-21-2016 10:24 AM | Re: Paypal withdrawing system changed? Nothing has really changed for me.....even though it may say 0-3 days most my payments are in my accounts within a few minutes. |
Re: Paypal withdrawing system changed? Personally I dont see the issue with waiting 72 hours. If its protocol, let it be. Its by no means a ridiculous amount of time, its not as though their telling you to wait 14 days etc. |

As for withdrawals...
As some of you know, summer or the run-up to summer is my best time. Had 12 withdrawals last week, on various stealths. All 72 hrs. |
