I know Lloyds bank is a No No but is TSB?

Hi All...
I have been studying how to make new Stealth accounts for PayPal and Ebay etc and im getting my head round it but one thing im not 100% on is getting verified with a TSB account.

I have seen Lloyds is a problem but is it an issue with TSB since they split?

I have a savings account with them so would be handy to use.

JamesNorth and I were discussing this in a thread a few days back and neither of us could confirm TSB is OK for stealth. With oompaloompa that now makes 3 experienced stealthers that can't give you a positive answer about TSB. Take that how you will. :thumb:

Ok thought I would contribute to this.

One of my Stealths uses a TSB Account. I have been using it for about 6 months.

However all deposits are from a Business PP Account. Hence all deposits are in a Business name.

And the amount of money deposited is small I must add.

About 3 months ago suddenly I could not make any withdrawals or transfers online.

No warning nothing.

An error message appeared that was it.

I called TSB and was asked to call my nearest branch.

I did, and I was informed that their system flagged the account as handling Business transactions.

TSB were fine. Removed the restriction and said and I quote "If I needed any help with business in the future please get in touch."

The amount of sales was and still is small I must add. I was testing them.

I should also mention that in my pre-stealth days I have used LloydsTSB with a Business PP Account with no issues at all.

I think it is largely hit and miss with these Banks.
