Best Option for UK Bank Account?

Hi All,
Just received the Bull**** message from PayPal telling me that my Lloydstsb saver is no good (Invalid number etc).

My problem is that my credit rating is worse than Osama Bin Laden's!

I'm pretty sure I have no chance of being able to open a current account anywhere in the western hemisphere. If savers accounts are no good then what can I do???

Anyone give a run-down of their success with banks? And I thought I had done so well...

ok, if YOU think you cant open a bank account then I dont think there is much anyone can say to you. obviously all banks are regulated the same in UK but have you tried the online banks, not sure if there is a difference, doubt it.
you could look in to ivobank, its on the forum but I cant recommend it personally, alternative is get a friend/ relative to set up a paypal account with bank attached and transfer money in that way and they pay you somehow, risky and best to get a written agreement. pm me about what and how much you are wanting to sell and I will try and get an opinion.

I thought that by law all banks had to give you some sort of account?
