One Metro Bank account compromised - safe to open a different one in the same branch?

Pretty much what it says in the header. My original Metro Bank basic account is attached to a permanently limited PayPal account. The bank has told me they're cool about me opening a new current account with them alongside the old one. What i need to know is is there any risk associated with doing this? Thanks!

No issue at all even if the new account number was only one digit different from the existing one.
