I hit the one threshold when I was around 4 thousand in sales and was asked for bank info update and matching name on bank and account.

It was never asked for me. Just name, address, social, phone number, birthdate and bank info

Same for me as well. I had to update and upload documents around 4 thousand and have went over 14 thousand and did not get hit with the second request that some sellers have received at 10 thousand in sales.
