when this switch over finally happens and they toast paypal. ARE THEY SERIOUSLY GOING TO REQUIRE EVERY SINGLE USA CITIZEN THAT USES EBAY TO SELL ASK FOR THERE SSN? like mercari and poshmark dont even do that...ebay is amazon wannabees

Nope, I don't see that happening. And right now, many sellers are unhappy about being forced to join mp.
Ebay may not force it all. I think they will keep both, paypal, and the big sellers use mp.

I think they'd be dumb to do that.
And future issues will arise for them holding on to SSN and such sensitive personal issues.
