Managed Payments originally a Canadian account
 

Hey, how are you. I bought a Canadian eBay and Paypal account probably a year ago and never got around to setting it up. I just tried to do it today, and what I did is change the registration info to US info. My question is that I tried to sign up for managed payments with this new account, but because this account was originally Canadian it isn't letting me. Is there any way to sign up for managed payments without doing a totally separate US account?

That's probably the problem. I hadn't gotten that far, but probably a local bank in my area.

Don't you have a different account in managed payments ? I've seen your older posts talk about being in managed payments and names not matching etc.

That is correct, but this is a separate "stealth" account that I bought but didn't set up. I was trying to get more info on that one to convert it into a managed payment account. That is the best thing that's ever happened to me with eBay.
