LLC / Business Bank Account
 

Hey All,

I have a business account with EIN.

One of my family members is the original owner of my account. Along with the business paypal. The ebay name is now my LLC

My LLc is in my name. I was going to get a business checking account with my LLC on it, but in my name not in the original owners name.

Do you think this will cause an issue with the new system , because we are different names but last name is the same??

Mind you my LLC is the same address as the original owners address attached to ebay.

So bottom line. My LLC business bank account will have the same last name but different first name. Along with the same address the ebay account was made in.

I think you should be fine. You can always edit the first name on the eBay account and it won't be an issue but some people are going to say that it's an issue but from my experience that isn't an issue.

Make sure to sign up with YOUR first name on the information. Provide the EIN and it will ask for the 25% majority holder. Use your SSN and provide a bank statement with your name attached to the routing number. That should make it all connect and get approved. If they question the other name on the bank account, explain it is an llc or the individual is bought out, and that you are the majority holder.

What happens if the bank account name is my business LLC name.

Right now it says xxx LLC for bank name.

Ie chase bank will give the bank account

Xxx LLC
Address
State , zip

That will all match up.

From what I believe, if you register with MP as a business entity they will require a business checking account that being said your business checking account will match the business name you gave to eBay during the sign up.

I was just wondering if they could pickup a name on the account from the account number or something.
