Has Anyone Gotten 2 Accounts Approved for MP?
 

The greatest question of our time:

If I use different LLCs with my real name and SSN as the owner over and over will I get accepted multiple times and will all of the eBay accounts with my same SSN as an owner but separate LLCs/Banks still be linked?

It seems like everyone is waiting for this precedent to be set by somebody else but nobody has gone for it yet. Do I have to be the first one to try or has it been done before?

Tbh I think this is how people will have to do it. It's pseudo pseudo stealth. So anyone with a complete schit business model will still be screwed and owned by ebay. That's what I'm most likely going to do. Get multiple LLC's and have seperate accounts as the owner with my same SSN.
Tbh Ebay does let a lot slide compared to what Amazon would do even years ago. So they might not care so much. I really hope so. Curious to see what others think.

you are allowed to have multiple accounts with MP with same info. given it is legit info. many sellers have multiple accounts.

as far as using EIN - ebay asks for ssn anyways even if you use ein

From what I gather and I could be wrong, you can only have multiple with same SSN if they are Business though which requires different ein's and Business names. You can't if it's just your ssn info for multiple ones.

This is very important info to confirm. Anyone else knows? Because if that's the case then aside from creating multiple LLC we will also need different business bank accounts under those LLCs to match.

One of my customers has already signed up 11 of the stealth accounts he purchased to MP. All with different info and non using EN or SSN.
The key is to be able to get 'creative' when providing certain items they request. From everything he told me it realy is NOT that difficult to do...

Yes agree seems like they quite ok with documents at the moment maybe they have backlog and approving sellers only time will tell us

Isn't EIN and/or SSN required info? Or you mean that's the part where we can get creative about providing?

Were those accounts personal or business accounts?

All personal accounts.
If you provide the wrong SSN and DOB they ask you to upload a supporting doc.
Get creative with the item provided and youre good to go.

Thanks for that info! But is this just for personal verification or does it include bank account part too? If it's just the first part isn't it just temporary approval and when you hit 4k sales your bank account will need to match and you won't be able to get passed that?

From what I understand youre requested to add and verify your bank account before you ever provide the doc - at the same time you initially enter the wrong SSN/DOB. Instant verification is the way my customer did it.

By the way - Im working to compile screenshots of the whole process so people can see exactly what to expect when they approach this process.

That would be awesome! I'm still somewhat confused if we have bank account under our names and have to match personal info given, how can the account be stealth, and how we can give a different SSN unless they're not really doing the matching in their end and just taking the docs at face value

I'm all for helping the community, but I don't really want eBay patching it if you plan to sell mp accounts...

You can't create new MP accounts and as he has said, probably won't be the case or required for a long time. This is all for old long-standing accounts.
