gift card balance vanished.

hello house.
i have loaded a few ebay gift cards as well ordered/bought items thereof as well,
i just logged in to check my account and use gift card balance to make another purchase when i got the message "We ran into a problem. Please try again later."
i tried a few minutes later and couldn't view/see my gift card balances on my check out page, where it usually appears.

as follow to what is stated above, the only thing that happened in between was me making offers for two items.
