New Ebay stealth, Message saying by feb 14th I have to go to MP
 

Hi, guys

On my new ebay stealth with no sales I was just given an email today that says " getting paid on ebay has changed"

If I don't update my account by feb 14th I won't be able to list on ebay.

Is this normal for brand new accounts or is this new now? It looks like from feb 14th onwards MP is required for all accounts.

Funny cuz I have my new stealth account with 7 items sold and I have the same message in the seller dashboard " getting paid on ebay has changed"
But I don’t received a final date.
So I think is the new Normal for all new accounts stealth or not.
So I think the stealth account are dead there’s no way to continue with this kind of account cuz eventually you need to change..... soon or late

I got it today for just my one new account, that sold 1 item on it, and it tells me exactly February 14th

For sure I’m gonna receive the same email �� so looks like our accounts are toast......
or do you have any suggestions

Hey I just spoke with a eBay representative and he said that all new eBay account will be registered to MP

I just got the same email on my brand new account I purchased back in December. Says I have until the 14th to register.

So like everyone has asked, is there any way around this or did I just waste all my freaking money and time...

What you're probably going to hear is some accounts won't get it and others will. 2 of my 10 new ones got this message. However I truly think ebay will continue this for all new accounts, I mean they are behind with etsy, Amazon and everyone wanting personal details validated so it's not a surprise.

You're best bet is to try entering your real info on MP with your "stealth" account and seeing what happens. That's about all I've been getting for advice on here.

How does this make sense


I thought 60% of eBay sellers are hobby sellers? They won’t bother submitting docs to verify?


So that means eBay will lose a significant Amount if sellers? Makes zero sense to me

I remember your earlier posts about using real details successfully. Are you saying you've lost all your accounts??

Not docs, but they want your SSN and identity name, checked under it for MP.

If you use your real docs.... why still getting stealth accounts???
