How to get a second Ebay account under MP when I was never suspended
 

Hi guys

I have my main ebay account of over 10 years that has never been suspended and is with MP with my full identity info. I'm wondering about creating a second ebay account under another MP with my same info. If I were to do this, should I still seperate the accounts by USERs, browsers and IP address just in case one account were to get suspended in the future, the other one will have a less chance of getting auto suspended as well?

OR is it completely normal to have two MP accounts on same IP, same browser and all?

I heard sometimes no, because they sometimes are willing to see them as two different entities or business's.

You can apply to eBay for a second account under your own name for a good reason such as selling 2 entirely different items one each account, one could be selling vehicle spares and the other baby clothes. Down side is if one gets limited so does the other and you have to share selling limits between accounts.

What if one account is a personal account and the other is a business account with an LLC? But same personal ssn info under MP?

Technically, legally, I believe that eBay is supposed to treat them as completely separate entities and should not punish the 2nd account for what the 1st account does. However eBay can always find some reason to nuke your account for whatever reason they feel like.

since you dont have a stealth account,why not go to Ebay seller forum and ask there,I am sure there are some sellers who have more than 1 eBay account

Don't quote me on this but I MAY be onto something here.......

So I recently signed up for MP. My main account was suspended years ago. For MP I used my name, address, SSN, ect, and they accepted me. BUT it was a business account with an actual tax ID, business checking account, business debit card, ect.

Here's the thing.. if you go into MP and you click on taxpayer settings my info pops up BUT it is listed as a STAKEHOLDER. So maybe its possible to have a second account and a different company that you are a STAKEHOLDER in. Its possible to own portions of multiple companies.

I am guessing my info passed MP because its a business account and not a personal account and I am simply a point of contact/stakeholder. I guess maybe the terminology is a way to get around it?

I don't know.. so please take this with a grain of salt just thinking out loud...

Hi, thanks for the info.

How long ago was your account suspended? And how long have you had the MP account?

Also, what type of LLC did you set up so that STAKEHOLDER can appear in your settings. Was it a sole proprietor or multi-member LLC?

This sort of question will attract the most accurate response from eBay.
It is possible, but you need to contact eBay. Let them know you wish to establish a separate niche. You'd get permission for a second account. You'd eventually get suspended if you sell the same items on both accounts.
You do not need to separate user-profiles unless for convenience’s sake. They will link both accounts whether or not they are unique entities.

Are you sure you have to share selling mg limits betweenn accounts?

I have 2 eBay accounts with same info and PayPal linked and they have separate limits. One 240 items- limit (100 sales) and the other 1500 items-limit (2000 sales)
