I got no email but account says "Getting paid on eBay has changed"
 

Hey guys

So I have a 8 month year old stalth that takes in about 400 every other month in revenue only, and I never got an email to go to managed payments.

However on the account when I login, on top of the listings it says this.

"Getting paid on eBay has changed
Update your account details now to ensure there is no interruption to your selling."

HOWEVER, It does not tell me by what time or anything I must update the account details.

Does this mean this account is fried? Or is it just a choice. Again I searched the my email box and never got an email like other accounts saying I have to go to MP by a certain date. Nothing like this.

What do you guys think?

Problem is, a majority of stealth users are international. When i say majority.. I believe it's majority. And they don't have access to banks in the USA. I believe the "international bank of xxxxx " should work for people who are international eg.. chicago,new york etc... also i have heard payoneer or transferwise work. i forget which.

But what about people in the US? What do we do for the ssn part, I can obviously get a bank or creative for ID but SSN will link my one MP account.

You guys are overthinking this. They have streamlined MP a lot since the start... they aren't checking bank account names. At most they are asking for 2 deposits, creating a statement takes 30 seconds in ms paint, I've done it many times.. If they request an ID that means your last 4 and DOB didn't pass their machine... Remember IRS only ever replies to these companies... yes or no. They don't give them more information.

It is the same as etsy.. If you can make etsy stealth, you can make ebay stealth. I won't get into it anymore than that. If aspkin decides to make a new guide, then so be it. But, i am not gonna be a trainer.

I have not messed with etsy stealth before so I'm unsure. I'm just wondering where on the forum I can possibly get help with it. The name on the bank I already knew about as that was the case with paypal, amazon etc and yes I know how to get createive with statements or even ID.

However, what do we do for ssn and Dob? Do all of these stealth accounts have to get our SSN and DOB? Can that end up getting our accounts linked if one gets banned all will then?

Anyone who I can consult in the forum about MP so I do it right and don't burn accounts or my own SSN info

I got the same on another of my stealth accounts. Need to sign up by may 21 they give you a few days after. Time to try different things. I have a few with my real info, 1 with made up info and 1 under a family members info. We don't really know long term if ebay is going to be strict or just let things fly

Looks like ebay/Adyen not checking at this time. This is just a temporary thing I am sure but at least it is something

same just happend to me but bank didn't go through , it says try later.

I just signed up w/ the "Get Started" link in the same email.
I used the bank account holder's information, opposed to the eBay account holder's info. and it seemed to work, so far. I got all the way through the process, I was thanked for updating, and am now looking at the eBay homepage.
Looks fine from here. If I get stomped, I'll update.

eBay email that followed:
"You’re all set for the simpler way to get paid!"
"Thanks for updating your account details!...Congratulations! Since you updated your account details, eBay is now managing payments for your account."

So did you put in your own SSN? and matching bank name??

It only asks for DOB and SSN.
I put in the correct/accurate DOB/SSN for the bank account owner, not the eBay account holder.

so are you the bank account holder putting in YOUR OWN ssn/dob or do you mean you have ssn from a different bank account holder you are using?
Are you putting in the same dob/ssn on more than one account?
