How are your sales with Managed Payments Only???
 

Curious to know how your sales are WITHOUT OFFERING PAYPAL?

So, I've been banned on eBay for 10 yrs or longer, but my buyers account uses all of my genuine information without any issue. So far i have 100s of feedback from buying alone over the years. Do you think i'll have success upgrading this to sellers account?

Sales are the same as pre-MP.

I think you'll be able to convert your buyer account just fine, clearly wait until you know for sure it will go straight to MP.

It's been a long while since I've sold on eBay. I have a question. As far as stealth is concerned, isn't MP handled the same way Amazon manages accounts with how they collect and distribute payments to sellers? If so, why the widespread panic?

Yes, it's effectively the same as Amazon. Monies are disbursed to a nominated bank account.

That's why many are getting in a flap, they don't have the endless supply of bank accounts as they're used to burning through them with their dodgy ebay accounts.


Can the genuine wronged seller go stealth on MP? Yes, they should be able to if they treat it with respect.

Can the chancer who used to burn through ebay and paypal accounts willy nilly cope? Not unless they've got an endless supply of bank accounts which they haven't - hence the panic.

Using MP to manage your payments doesnt mean youre not offering paypal to your customers. Youre still offering paypal as well as a whole host of other payment methods that are all funneled into the same pool of funds which is then disbursed directly into your bank account.
Technically speaking if anything it should improve the experience for potential buyers and increase your item availability.

buyer can still use Paypal to pay you,the optons are Paypal,bank fund,or debit/credit card. And Ebay bucks

I don't understand what you're saying. Whether it's ebay MP banks or Paypal banks, we always had to come up with many of them. I have no problem coming up with 50 bank accounts if I wanted to.

I've burned through countless paypal accounts and never needed a bank account or ID, I don't know why you think we've always needed them.

You might have access to 50 bank accounts, many don't and that's only part of the MP process, what will you be doing about ID's?
