Does the SSN/EIN you give need to match the name of the eBay account?
 

If you have a stealth account under a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name, and provide a real SSN/EIN, would you run into any issues due to the info you giving not matching the name of the eBay account? Or would it be fine as long as it wasn’t a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ SSN/EIN that didn’t exist?

For existing accounts the name you provide to managed payments needs to match the SSN & DOB otherwise it keeps failing and will require ID verification that might also fail (have not seen any confirmation on here yet of successful creativity). Once MP signup is completed, the original stealth registration information will be updated with the correct info.

For managed payments, can you change the first name and DOB on the eBay account and provide a real SSN so that everything matches? Or is changing first name and DOB too risky? Basically to make eBay think that a family member or spouse was running the account previously.
