Changing first name & DOB for MP
 

Can I change the first name and DOB of an eBay account and add a real matching SSN, so that it looks like a family member/spouse is running the account? And could I do the same for Paypal to verify my identity and get the funds? Or would that be too many red flags

Yes, you can. But it risks your account.

Most people get away with this, it seems ebay understands you may have signed up with a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name but need to provide a real one for MP

Have you read the forums? There are dozens of threads talking about changing your name to a real one and "UnStelthing" the account :-)

There are no associated risks. Unless of course, you don't change the name across eBay.
