ebay managed payments update your account details
 

I have searched long and hard on the forums so please don't tell me to search for this info

I just signed up for managed payments and its asking me to update my account details to get my payments


I am not sure where to start

I already changed the stealth name to my real name but now its asking for DOB and last 4 of ssn or ITIN

Where do I go from here?

Also what do I do with the address do I still leave it at stealth?

You just enter your real DOB and SSN. Remember that PayPal had this information, not EBay. As for the address, don't change it.
No need to stress, it'll be fine.

Did you give your SSN to eBay previously? Point being that we haven't supplied this info to eBay previously, so it won't link it to your suspended account.

I never gave ebay my SSN

I can do this with multiple accounts and never have a problem?

Do I need to change the accounts address to mine too? That would cause a link would it not?

Nobody can tell you that the accounts won't be linked to each other, but this won't cause a link to your old suspended account.

Address is fine. Doesn't matter. DOB and SSN apparently do have to match. i''ve tried putting in XXX DOB and SSN, but it fails.

In the US it is the law that the SSN must match all relevant personal details. There are various online verification services that are available to anybody who is ready to pay

OK so I will go forward with DOB and SSN matching but the address will still be stealth then

Exactly. That's the plan. I tried mismatching ssn and dob, but the only way I have been able to get them to pass is for these 2 things to be correct

Real question... so why does it matter to keep the address stealth or not? What difference does it make if you already give them your name dob and ssn?

Why make a change if you if don't need to? Also, your name alone isn't going to link your accounts. There are plenty of "John Smith's". But if the name and address match...
