When do you have to sign up for managed Payments?
 

Veteran stealther here.

I think I’m going to create a new eBay account here over the next few weeks with 100% my real information. My question is I’m reading the forums, and so will they ask me to sign up for managed payments IMMEDIATELY now when I make the account and go to list my first item? From what I’m reading all accounts created after June 1 automatically sign up for MP whenever you go to list your first item?

So when I make a new eBay account now with my real information I won’t need to mess with making a PayPal account or anything anymore? Just checking I want to be sure because if this is my new legit account I want it to be spot on with no issues.

The only payment processor that you can use is MP. Therefore, PP is not involved. Yes you need MP to create your first listing. How else would you get paid?

Well I wasn’t sure, I saw some of the previous posts about this but normally you would sign up for PayPal and stuff and then you get invited to manage payments later on

They switched over fully to MP on June 1st I believe. All new accts created after that date are opened with MP as the default payment method.

They're done converting all the way over to MP for everyone, unfortunately

Do you think guys that it could be easier to stealth with an old account or with a new one in June?
