Does eBay MP check that your address matches your bank account address?
 

If they check, how do they check? Can I just use a UPS box or do I have buy/rent an apartment and register for a bank account at that address if it's an individual account (no EIN, just SSN)? Are banks in the US not going to like that you're using a UPS box?

So in that case, is there any reason not to use a fictitious address with eBay MP other than so you could accept returns? I basically get like 1 return every 3 years. I thought eBay was asking people for like a utility bill or something for address verification?

Some people are saying eBay MP doesn't care about the address on your bank statement even if/when eBay asks for it...some are saying it matters. :confused:

Address does not matter. No reason to change it.

There is no need to worry about the address since they don’t have that access to see themselves.

I have converted several stealth accounts to MP leaving the stealth address on the account which doesn't match my bank account.

How long ago did you convert them? Did they ask for ID?

They don't ask for ID when converting to MP

You can have multiple Ebay addresses-one for receiving mail from Ebay,one for return shipping,one for receiving mail from Ebay seller.
they can be different or the same.
