New eBay accounts are given only 10 items to list.
 

Hi guys,
I created 2 new eBay accounts with MP using 2 EIN from my 2 companies and both of them were allowed to list only 10 items each per month. Before when we had PayPal the initial number of items to list was 300 or so.
Is it normal? Does anyone know how to get more listing allowed from start? I'm planning to open 2 more accounts and 10 listings is definitely not what I was expecting.
Please share your thoughts and experience.

It seems it would be better to buy 2 "old fashioned " stealth accounts and then upgrade them...
I wonder how much time will it take me to upgrade them to the appropriate level..

If we buy stealth accounts, they must be in different names. When upgrading to MP, we have to put in our real details, name, DOB, SSN, etc. Wouldn't that raise a red flag if those details were changed?

You're going to buy stealth accounts to convert them to legit accounts? Doesn't sound like a good way to invest money.
I have about a dozen accounts and I'm pretty sure that they all started at 10 items. Sell a few things and it will raise.

Noticed also new ebay/MP accounts are getting low limits as of recent

I very rarely would get an account with more than 10, sometimes there would be a rare exception and you would get alot of listings but its best not to list too many items on one account. With the new MP getting an account that worked with 10 would be a blessing.

U doin something wrong with your account making for you to get 10 items to list...check your account making and keep trying

your right 100 on this. Its all about creation, when I got better at creating accounts I usually got more than 10 but even with 10 just build it slow, you can always create 9 or 10 accounts and now you have 100

If I was ebay all I would care about is the fees. If you pay you stay, they got stupid about it over the years.

Today I made two accounts. One was 500/25k and the second one has no limits. Usually once the account is created you will need to verify info. And they’ll ask how much you plan on selling. So I explain my company, where we get our products, show our website, and show we can be trusted. If you get a good rep and can talk the talk you’ll get higher limits.

Selling limits are set by system based on how risky you are.

There are things they (do like a stalker) that they don't inform users. For example: if you use gmail, they can see when you made your gmail account, so if it's a fresh gmail, expect risk and low limits.
phone number they can see if it's a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ number or real number

What other things they see from creation and how I can raise my chance to have higher limits from creation?

Dont waste time to change info when you upgrading to MP . i had account with 500 feedback and lived more 1 year and when i upgrade to MP , i try change name Ebay account . Boom ! next day , my account is red flag and suspend . it's my pain , i miss that account :( . All is true 100 % .

You can see how old a Gmail account is...?!?! That sort of thing is public?
