Signed up for eBay MP 4 days ago, no micro deposits received
 

Upgraded stealth account to eBay MP, they asked for last 4 of SSN, DOB, name, phone, address. SSN, name, DOB are real (family member). Linked bank account and they said we'd get 2 micro deposits but they still haven't been received and it's been 5 business days. What to do next? The account is a Capital One joint checking account with the family member whose name is on the eBay MP account. We're afraid to do any sales yet incase eBay decides to ban the account and seize the funds. The address on the checking account is banned by eBay. I was under the impression that trial deposits might be safer but should we try signing in via CapitalOne login or just try adding the bank account again via trial/micro deposit method?
Also set the bank account to "preferred selling costs instrument".

Several people have reported they never got the micro deposits but were able to start receiving payouts from eBay.

eBay seems to be using micro deposits as a fallback verification method. :noidea:

I'm one of them. Never received any micro deposits. Account is fine. I transfer $ everyday.

To OP: did you by any chance miss one digit of your bank account. thats was my problem, I incorrectly entered my back acc number.

eBay never sent micro deposits, all is fine so far. Received payout. When do they ask for more KYC details like ID, utility, bill etc. ?

I think it depends on the sales amount from what I heard and experienced. How much did you sell until now?

They don't with micro deposits. I believe it is only asked if you do it manually without micro deposits or instant verification method.

Yeah instant verification is no good. Ive seen the real name of the acct holder show up on ebay when thats used so avoid using that method for verification.
