Anyone still use google voice number for Managed Payment?
 

I know not to sign up for a new account with google voice, it's almost always an instant ban, but is it OK to keep google voice number on account?

Signed up for account years ago with google voice, no problems. I have all new info since real account got banned years ago (moved new place, new computer, new Internet, new banks, etc). Only things same is my name and real cell phone which I don't want to use.

Not sure if they re check the phone.

you'll get an error "We can't verify you" when registering for a seller account. You might get lucky that it will be accepted.

As OP mentioned he did not use the GV to sign up for the seller acct.
Anything aside from that the GV should work just fine.

I signed up for an ebay account about 5 years ago using my google voice number, didn't have a problem then. Obviously I think it would be a problem now.

I am being forced into managed payment, what I am asking is is it safe to keep the same google voice number for signing up for managed payment or when signing up for MP will ebay check the phone number to see if it's a google voice/internet number so I'll need to get a new line?

Not a bad idea to get a new line and sub it in...I am not sure if eb will check the phone number in retrospect when going into the MP registration...
