eBay account update – your account will be activated for managed payments on 08/30/20
 

Weird stuff. Had a couple of solid accounts pre-MP that I signed up with MP, with "interesting" details. As people have mentioned, it all went Kabloooey and Kaput for not being able to be verified.

All listings removed, suspended, etc.

Today, got an email for all of them, saying:

Your account will be activated for managed payments on 08/30/2021

Thank you for registering for managed payments on eBay.

Your account will be activated for managed payments by the evening of 08/30/2021. Once activated, your existing listings will be automatically updated and will reflect the different ways your buyers can pay. You should not see any interruptions to orders received while your account activation is in process. You will receive a confirmation once your account activation is complete.

I wouldnt read too much into it. Sounds like a glitch.
I assume none of the accts are active again.
