Question about fees
 

I'm new to eBay MP. So since they force you to add a bank account now. Do they just forcefully take the fees from your bank without your permission???

Fees are deducted as payments come in. For example if you sell an item for $10 eBay takes their cut off the top and you are credited with $8.75 or so for the transaction. They don't do monthly invoices for your fees anymore.

They will dip into your bank account if you're having to send a refund and you don't have enough money in your pending payouts to cover it. They aren't doing anything "without your permission" because you give them permission to access your bank account when you link your bank account.

No, they take their fees from the sale price before they disburse your monies.

They will only take money from your bank account if, for example, you have a refund to make but no sales to cover it.

There is no 'force' required on their part, you will have authorised them to do so when your account is/was converted to MP.

And what if the person doesn't have enough money in their bank to cover it?

Also is it possible to add another bank or rotate banks to sort of split the funds you receive from sales? Or is it not possible once the account has been linked?

you can use a different bank account,but it wont split your payment among different bank accounts.
you can do so yourself after fund is deposited in one bank account,outside Ebay/MP.
Good question-what if you dont have enough in your bank account for refund?
If you are a good seller,it could wait till you make more sales and take it from the sales proceeds.
How much does your bank charge for NSF?

I don't know what happens if your bank account has insufficient funds but I imagine that would lead to eBay suspending your account.

In managed payments preferences you can choose what you want your default payment method to be. It can be your bank account, a card, or a Paypal account.

I also don't know if they'll let you add more than one bank account and split your payouts. What's the point of using more than one bank account per eBay? :noidea:

If you have overdraft facilities then clearly your bank would send monies to ebay as you agreed.

THEN your bank could charge you NSF fee.

You keep pushing the same question.
The fees will come out of the money ebay receives through MP so nothing needs to hit your bank account.
If for whatever reason there are fees charged to your bank account and you dont have enough funds in there the bank will charge you the NSF fee (has nothing to do with ebay) and youll likely get the ebay acct itself suspended until you resolve any outstanding fees.
