Hi Everyone,

I received an email from eBay saying "Your payouts are currently on hold while we conduct a performance review" then about 20mins later my account got an MC011, and now there wanting all kinds of documentation. I just canceled all my orders and told my buyers to purchase from my website. I was only selling camping tents and mattresses. now i am trying to figure out how to get my money that is on hold. I hate managed payments. they have put my funds on hold 4 times already for no reason at all. Is there any faster way to get my funds back faster? i am not uploading any documentation and all the orders have tracking and been delivered.

is this a real account? what is the frozen amount?

They probably won't release the money if you flat-out refuse to give any documents. In that scenario they will most like say they're holding the $ for "legal reasons" and you can get it from your state government in the future through escheatment.


Why not try to give them the documents they want?

no stealth, frozen amount is $1200, I told them i wasn't providing any documentation.

just a waste of time, had the same thing happen on my real account. said my account would be reinstated once i completed all the steps. then once I provided all the documentation they flat out lied and turn around and permanently limited my account and told me I could never sell on eBay again. this was right before it was switched to managed payments too, luckily i had no funds on hold with PayPal and there just as bad now too they put a reserve on my account saying 100% of all my funds would be held until my accoun reaches $11,000

with a real account the money is likely to be released after a couple of months

I doubt this can be accelerated without sending docs

I just asked all my buyers if i can refund them, then send me the money through cashapp or my website. I've had success with this method in the past.

When does this happen? I sold some stuff on half.com before it went down account suspended never got funds and never went to the state.
