Can we remain anonymous with eBay managed payments?
 

I am certain this has been asked before; however, under the eBay managed payment system is there a way to remain anonymous from eBay? And what occurs if this new account later down the road gets banned with your real information provided. Are you not able to create a stealth eBay account since your information is logged? Thanks to anyone with input on this subject.

Remaining anonymous legitimately is tough with MP. What are you concerned about exactly for receiving payments anonymously?

You can no longer remain totally anonymous assuming you've attached a legitimate bank account.

For sure, once you've burned a set of details it will be difficult to recycle them.

The day of ten-a-penny accounts is long gone. Treat the one(s) you have with respect.

there are ways but I wouldnt be comfortable using them..

Yes I will attach a legitimate bank account however from what I gather it does not matter whose name the deposit is coming from...? From what I heard the name could be anyone's...eBay had not way to confirm this. And most banks allow this.

Do I have to provide an ID or social to eBay regardless of what we do now? So are stealth accounts now completely dead? Appreciate the information.
