Updated to Business account now got an ID request
I had an account forced into MP to sell and to I converted into a business account with EIN. I added a SSN and DOB and got the message that MP was set.
The next day I got a request for ID.
Is this account now fugal? |

| Did you use your real details? Real name? Real SSN and DOB? If so, you should have no problem sending your real ID
If you sent ⊗⊗⊗⊗ information, you're account is done. Only real details work for MP. It's been mentioned many times on this forum that stealth is dead. It's true. Some will argue that stealth is very much alive, but what they don't tell you is that they cannot successfully make an account using ⊗⊗⊗⊗ details and spend their days asking people if they want fries with their order because they can't earn money selling online anymore. |

| Can you turn stealth info into real info? For example, account created with stealth info (diff name, addy, etc.) and when registering for MP change it to real? |

It's the only way forward. Use your real name, real SSN and real DOB during MP sign-up. Attach your real bank account during this process. There is no need to change any other details, so leave all the steath information alone (name, address, phone number, etc)
Very simple easy process. |

hello. my longterm Ebay account got suspended about a year ago. never looked into creating a new account then as I wasn't really using Ebay anymore. however it was never linked to managed payments. it was linked to a PayPal account that was linked to my real SSN. using all my real info on both Ebay and PayPal.
my question is could I try creating a new Ebay account with managed payments and all my real info and use my SSN and have it work? of course all new ip/physical/email/phone but using my real name and SSN. I've even moved states so my new drivers license is from another state with different physical address.
or would they have my SSN info on file since this was a 10 year old account that was linked to PayPal with my SSN from the days when Ebay and PayPal were married.
any ideas here? |

| They won't have you SSN on file since that was PP's job. If they did, they wouldn't be asking for it now with all the new registrations... they'd just import it into the new system. |

is this a recipe for success today?
1. new eBay account with all legit info including ssn/dob/all never before used contact info (identity never suspended before)
2. using mobile hotspot as connection with constant changing IP address.
3. new user account on same laptop that had been used with an account that got permanently suspended.
am I missing anything? thanks! |

| I don't understand how that works. So you create seller account in stealth details for higher limits, but when it comes time to provide SSN bday etc switch to real deets? |

| You give EIN and last 4, as of now. Neither of them are mine btw (but legit)... was able to sell immediately and receive money in the bank 2 days later. No MP registration or bank confirmations of any kind so far. |

| There was no way to change the name when I converted to MP, anyone else experience this? "Name" field was greyed out. |
