Do you need to use real address?
 

I'm trying to sign up multiple MP's but with different LLC's/EIN's. For the address of the primary contact should I use my real address for all of them? I know to use my real name, DOB and SSN but I am unsure if I do the same for the address or if I am to use a stealth address.

I used my real address for all of them. I didn't want to risk my accounts, knowing that at some point in the future (if not right after registration) eBay would most likely try to verify the primary contact info to make sure you're a real person.

they always do , in the US they will at least do SSN online verification , possibly credit check as well

I have some accounts I have already started without the real address. Should I update that address to my real address you think?

As long as they don't have issues with it I assume they don't tell me about it. idk.

I just changed info to real on an account from 2011 that a friend gave me. I’ve used it only to search and maybe ask a question or two.
Waiting on the micro deposits to hit my bank.
I did all of this Sunday and today is Tuesday.
Used all of my info social addy birthday etc.
only didn’t add apartment number when I changed the reg eBay address
My real info was used on my three accounts from 2002. One (buying) went down which took the other two selling accounts that were linked.
Will update soon.
•note I used another banking account at credit union in my maiden name.
I still had to update social and Birthdate on the ebay profile. Probably get sunk but you never know!

I was banned a little less than 2 years ago and was not on mp, my account was still using paypal when i was banned. i got back on ebay early last year with a new account, but used a different address and MP this time instead of paypal, so i was able to use all my real info and ssn since i hadnt used ssn on my banned account. the only new things i had to use was a different address and a different bank account. my question is, is ebay going to id check me eventually and is my new account going to get banned because my id says my real address and not the same address thats currently on this account? thanks to anyone who may read this and have advise.

You should be fine. They mostly care about your name, dob and ssn being real

Using a address that’s not in their identity check system will most likely give your lower selling limits but that’s about it. From my experience ID request come from using voip phone numbers
