Convert to business - Select your legal entity QQ
 

I got an EIN via the IRS website but it is not registered anywhere. What should I choose from the selections below for my account I am trying to convert to a business

If I Select "No" from above, it asks for the stealth accounts DOB and SSN info. Cannot do that. So I choose "Yes". But I am not sure what legal entity type to choose.

If you are a business, you don't have to supply SSN and DOB? I thought you still had to identify yourself.

Do you have an incorporated business with state filed Articles of Incorporation or Articles of Organization or just an EIN and operating as a sole proprietor? If you filed articles with the state then the name of your entity listed in the articles will tell you what kind of company you filed for since your company should is required by to have its legal structure LLC, LTD, Limited Liability Company, INC, Incorprated, CO, etc included in the name... Simply opening an EIN as a sole proprietor doesn't make you a single member LLC or seperate business entity thus you'd have to open an account with your SSN or try to open as a business but you'd have to get very creative with your documents to get pass the MP reviews as they'll ask for bank statements or a bank letter in the company name and address and other documents proving your identity and the existence of the company.
