What happens when you hit the 1099k threshold?

For those of you who hit the 1099k threshold in the past and had already provided a Tax ID number on Paypal or wherever- what happens when you hit that threshold? Do they contact you to verify the tax ID number and address? Or does business go on as usual?

if you have already provided them the information to prepare a 1099K,it will just use it ,one copy for you and one copy for IRS.
