updated to business
 

I upgraded to business single LLC but after entering my name 4ssn as director I am seeing the name changed on the ebay account to my real name.
is this how it is for everyone?

I registered my LLC just today and input that information. but within 10 minutes I got a msg:
We couldn't verify the business information you provided.

More details You need to review the details you provided about your business. Please fix any incorrect info you might see.

Please update this information by Feb 13, 2022 to release your held payouts and avoid further restrictions.

Is it because I just registered it today? or something else

I could be wrong, but I think the EIN is what they are actually verifying at first. You may get more verification requests down the road for paperwork of the LLC, etc. But at first I believe it is just verifying the EIN. And when I did it on Paypal, it would take around 2 weeks or so for the EIN to be able to be verified. So it takes some time. By the time I had put these into the eBay system, they were aged so I was verified right away. But I imagine if this is a new EIN, it would take about the same amount of time like it did in the Paypal days (wow, saying that makes me feel old!) :s

How would things be different if I added an s-copr instead of single member llc to ebay?
Would the company owner name have taken over the ebay account as well?
I am not understanding the use of even making a company or LLC if the ebay was just going to take on my real name? why pay all those state fees to file an LLC etc when this happened..
Any input?

You've wasted your time and money.
Adyen is not PayPal. Just like EVERY other credit card processor in the US, they must know who you are and where you are through the same verification processes EVERY bank and credit card processor uses.
You cannot hide behind a business like PayPal allowed.
Stealth has been dead for a year now, it's time to rename this forum. Perhaps some ideas for a new name could be made by other users?
Just a thought as it'll save you and other hopefuls time, money and aggravation thinking you can somehow create a stealth account these days.
