new checking account with UPS box
 

Hello everyone. First post, and my apologies if this has been discussed in detail already. Still trying to learn the navigation.

I have a business UPS box set up which is my new LLC address. I tried getting a checking account from Chase with this as the address, but their compliance team said they know it is a mailbox and cannot be used. I have an old business checking account from PNC bank, which was set up against a UPS address and that account has been fine. I cannot use that account though. So I need a new business checking account using my LLC address at the UPS box.

However, it appears now that all banks wont let you use a UPS box at all even if it is the business address of an LLC for a business checking account. You CAN set the checking account MAILING address to the UPS box, but the account still knows your 'tainted' residential address.

So I guess the question is, when ebay pulls funds, do they see the MAILING address, which would be ok, or will it pull my residential address which is no good?

I know people since the new managed payments have been making this work, but I can't find a bank that will open a business checking account with just my LLC address and nothing else, because of 'know your customer' regulations.

No they won't see the mailing address - they will only have whatever address you GIVE them for the bank acct

ebay absolutely can see an address from your checking account when they pull funds. It is the main reason they do micro transactions, and one of the most common ways of getting linked...

They will see the name but bank won't provide the account holder's address on the receipt generated

eBay does not get anything from microdeposits, now if you do instant bank sign in or statements then they have all the info

the Above is correct, they mainly see the name on the account if they withdraw. Not deposit
