Any online banks working for US managed payments?

Having trouble with Wise accounts now, not working any more. I am a non-resident so in need of a bank where I can open an account online or over the phone.

Online banks are not reliable.

Have you tried registering in UK then go to the .com platform to sell?

Fees are a lot higher, but looking like the only option until I can get an account with a major bank.

Anyone been able to open an account with a major bank over the phone?

I got it from a friend. He helped get the bank accounts.

Usually its just Wise business accounts that work

Are you using a business or personal WIse account?

2 accounts. I have both business and personal. Both works great.

I tried using a Business Wise account. It gives an error when trying to add the bank details.

I should add that I have older eBay US accounts with Wise accounts connected and they are receiving payouts no problem. It's just new accounts or trying to change the bank account to Wise where I am having problems.

There is an international fee for UK accounts selling on other sites, plus currency conversion fee, plus the terrible exchange rate eBay use. The %'s are quite significant vs running a US account. Yeah it can be factored into profit margins but if it can be avoided why not avoid it.

For me I already have the US accounts with my real details that I want to use. Wise won't even work with matching names and real details.

A lot of the online only banks are blacklisted

Not all of them are, but the remaining ones aren’t shared to avoid getting them blacklisted as well

Just to note, Mercury is business only and If you are a non resident trying to apply for an account you`ll need a passport, they don`t accept National ID cards for residents of most countries. We work with them daily and they`ve become more and more strict with national ID`s and international addresses. Also make sure your business is fully documented. Articles and SS-4 won`t cut it anymore with them. They`ll only request that info on the initial application but will request more documents 24 to 48 hours later. Also Mercury is a fintech not a bank so while they are more lenient then say Chime or some of the other digital apps who`s accounts are furnished through The Bancorp, Metabank, green dot, etc, their compliance department is very active. Too many transactions that look personal and they`ll be sending an email. They offer a great product, if you don`t abuse it.

Mercury doesn't work any more either, at least it does not work on my new accounts. Still attached and working for payouts on my existing old accounts. The Mercury accounts are supplied by Evolve Bank and Trust, same as Wise, so I believe they may have blacklisted this provider. Only speaking from my recent experience. Interested to know if anyone else has managed to attach Mercury or Wise accounts lately...

Accounts supplied by Evlove and Lending Club Bank were working for us as of 04/07/2022. Evolve is one of the sponsor banks for our upcoming deposit product so we`ve been testing the accounts with both Amazon and Ebay for the past few weeks. Test will continue next week so I`ll come back and post updates if we are getting different or mixed results.

As of this week, Mercury and accounts supplied by Evolve Bank & Trust have been working flawlessly for us for new and old accounts. Lending Club accounts have been hit and miss.

Added a Mercury account (04/15 6:07 PM EST) without issue. Lending Club bank has failed all week.

This was from a few minutes ago and is the 4th successful registration this week with Evolve. This was a sloppy creation as I`m at home sitting on my sofa and the registration was still successful. Also successfully opened a Ebay business account and added a Mercury account for an incorporation client from Vietnam with an ITIN and EIN but no SSN. Had to contact to confirm identity but had no issues with the bank.

I believe payoneer allows non-US citizens to have a bank account that accept ACH

However, ebay has blanket banned those routing numbers
