Delay in new items appearing in search results
 

Has anyone else had this issue recently? Posting new items take a day or two to appear in search results, and if an existing listing's description is edited, it also disappears for a day or so then appears again.

This is common for new listings (new accounts mainly)

It does take like 24-48 hours for your listing to go into live search. I think it goes away once you reach 10 feedback.

And yes if you edit your listing before it successfully goes live it will reset the timer.

I usually make "Blank" Listings and put them out of stock (opt in for out of stock option) and let it sit for 2 days.

Then you can edit it to your liking.

No, the account has 500+ feedback, chalked it up to an ebay system glitch maybe? Weird things have been happening recently too, like the feedback system crashing, etc...

Does not works for me- still listing dissapears for ~2 days. And i found out hard way if in rare cases it goes live immediately and somebody buys it in a hours, then account gets suspended :shocked: So i usually update listing immediately after creation to get these 2 days off for sure - it is weird but it somehow works..
