If banned after submitting driver's license, can you make new account using passport?
 

If eBay asks for ID (driver's license) due to a volume spike and then bans your account because their stupid AI couldn't verify something like an address mismatch or issue with middle name not being on all docs (not because of a legitimate selling violation), if you used a different form of ID to register a new account will they link you? If say I used my driver's license on a banned account but then registered a new one and used passport would they link me? Would use new computer, address, email, phone, bank account and IP but SSN, name, DOB of course would be the same.

use of same SSN and/or used passport could potentially link your account but use of new ID altogether might let you avoid the link...'might' though since the info of name and dob are still the same so it would be an easy auto-match on the platform end...

I doubt this is the reasons why you are suspended.
You are in US,MP would need your SSN,if it is a personal account??

If a submitted license has a mismatch of the name or address, it can cause the account to be suspended, AI’s are not stupid they just check the drivers details are correct.
