So stealth really isn't a thing anymore with MP....right?
 

I never figured out how to move money out of stealth accounts back in the day. You couldn't transfer to a prepaid card in a different name...some banks would accept deposits but most wouldn't and you'd get your accounts frozen....You could send payments to your personal paypal but you most likely didn't have one if you are here....

Now with MP....I am assuming the info can't be different than the ebay account....right?

Am I missing something here? This is almost worse than paypal because at least with paypal you could try and move the money around.

It seems like you HAVE to use real info weather it's yours, a friend or loved ones, or stolen.....

is that the gist of it?

What do you mean? Why do you think the MP info has to be legit. Just click, my bank isn’t on the list and enter your details manually.

I think it depends on what you refer to as stealth. Several members have had success using different methods with MP, converting established accounts as well as creating new ones

interesting....you could never do that with paypal back in the day, or maybe you could but the banks that allowed it were rare...

Also....isn't an EIN or SSN required on an ebay US account to sell? I literally just opened a new account myself and I was required to enter it. So if I am using a stealth account....under ⊗⊗⊗⊗ details....I use EIN? my SSN is no good on ebay. Don't they link the EIN to the name attached to it?

When creating a personal account on ebay you add stealth info, and then MP info for bank?

You are confusing many members with these quips.

If you change the name and address when creating the seller account then you automatically are changing the registered name and address on the ebay account to real details as well.

Ebay and MP are the same thing

It's fine to use stealth for both or real for both when done correctly

But ebay and MP are the same.

You have to remember that USA eBay stealth is harder to do than other countries, for example the UK is much easier as they do not have a SSN number to contend with when registering personal accounts and business accounts there are relatively easy to make as well, so stealth is not dead, just easier in other places than some.

But you are aren't changing the name and address on eb side - just with the banking info side - maybe i'm confused about what you are alluding to

I think stealth account on this forum means making up a name,either it does not exist or someone else's name without his permission and then add address,etc,
docs would come later when asked.

I really dont have any idea what you are talking about.

Perhaps explain exactly what you mean by providing stealth info to ebay and real info to Managed Payments.

If you open an account with stealth info and then provide real info when creating a seller account, this automatically changes the registered name and address "on the ebay side" to real information.
