2023 1099k
 

If you’re a US seller, the IRS form 1099-K is used to report your earnings. The 1099-K form may apply to your earnings on Etsy.

If you aren’t a seller located in the US and aren’t paid in USD, you won’t be issued a 1099-K form.

If you reached more than $20,000 USD in gross sales and more than 200 transactions in 2023, or a met a threshold for your state, Etsy will have a 1099-K form available for you to use when filing for the 2023 tax year.

Several states have different reporting thresholds from the IRS to be issued a 1099-K. You’ll be issued a Form 1099-K from Etsy if you met either the federal threshold or a threshold for your state in 2023.

Does it mean if you are not an US seller but receives US$ ,you get a 1099k?
and what would you do with it??

I am sure they will have a foreign equivalent, no one gets to keep any income without reporting, regardless of physical location sadly. If the treasury knows about it, they will want it

There are many UK sellers on Ebay.com,does Ebay send out equivalent of 1099K to UK sellers,and does it include the US sales $$ ?
same with Aussie sellers?
