OLD Suspended Account Tax Data
 

It's getting close to tax time and I have two old suspended egay accounts which they closed earlier last year. The problem is I cannot login into either one as the two factor phone number for them is no longer valid. I have two current good accounts which I do not want to risk attracting attention to, should I even attempt contacting support to get back into the old accounts to get my tax info or just let them rot?

suspended accounts in stealth info? how much amounts have gone through them?

Accounts are not stealth, but have different address as current accounts. Both have same valid ssn attached. I'm estimating each had sales around a few thousand total over the six months they were in operation. Both were suspended at the same time

Ebay could have mailed 1099 to those 2 addresses.

Yes, but this was set to paperless and I don't know if we met the threshold last year as it was only active for 5 months or so

if you dont have sales records,then look into your bank statements and estimate the total sales for your tax return.
If you are ever audited by IRS,they would want to see your bank account(s) for the last 2 years,anything which is not salary,inheritance,insurance proceeds,gifts,SSN ,pension will be considered business $$ .

Yes I'm thinking recreating data from our bank accounts and records is the best way forward

Did they ever send you the 1099 tax doc on email?

No, we never received 1099 for either account the past year. They were only running 5 months before suspension as well

I believe last year is still 200 transactions AND $20K.
