Second Chance VERO Items
 

Do you guys give second chance offers for vero items? Often I'll have a box of 30 or 50 vero items and get a lot of really close bids, like 214.25, 215, 220, 240. Obviously, I can make my money a lot quicker if I give second chance offers and they all sell, but does that raise any flags I should be worried about? My items are legit but I was kicked off ebay in the past for keyword spamming and then I was banned for life by making a new account during my suspension time, so now it seems that I'm constantly on the run and getting banned over and over for something as silly as using the words "i pod" and "ipod" in the same title. Ridiculous!

But I digress... Should I give second chance offers on VERO items or not?

I sent 50 second chance offers on a vero item. Left them up for 3 days. Didn't get a single bite on them, even though they showed as active in my active selling section. Was verrry strange. I didn't hear anything from ebay about it though.

I find that 2nd chance offers work well only if you send them right after the auction ends for 1 day.

You can also state in your listing - that you will offer a 2nd chance to some ppl so check your email after the auction ends.

Other than that its a low rate of buyers cause you may send 10 2nd offers and only get 2 ppl to pay.

VERO cant see or touch your 2nd chance offers.

If you have been reported prior to the closing of the listing, you're second chance offer will be terminated, and the auction that closed will be terminated.

I sold Chi flat iron, 3 day. It closed successfully, I offered a few second chance offers, one person bit.

Then about 12 hours later, I got notification that the second chance offeres were terminated, the origional auction was terminated .. good thing the peopl had already paid though..

Just automate the second chance offers with selling manager pro so they get sent as soon as the auction ends, the sale rate does seem to be much better the quicker they are sent.
